Today we’re at the Big Bethanie Bake Off at Have a Go Day in Burswood Park. The bake off is hosted by Bethanie and sees WA seniors compete against school kids in a fun and engaging baking competition!
The Big Bethanie Bake Off is about bringing the community together through food and the event is packed full of friendly competition, family fun and of course, great baking.
The bake off is a great example of Bethanies unique approach to good care and retirement villages, where residents enjoy a social and engaging lifestyle.
Finalists in the bake off have been judged on creativity, appeal of dish, nutritional content and the story behind their favorite recipe and today they came head to head in front of some celebrity judges.
The award of Best Kid recipe went to Molly Urwin from John XXIII College, the award of Best Senior recipe went to Kerry Bell from Geraldton and the grand prize award of Big Bethanie Bake Off Champion went to Jessie Rowe also from Geraldton.
