Today I’m in a very special part of the foothills…Kalamunda, enjoying a glorious day of shopping and look what I’ve found…. a terrific gem. It’s called First Avenue and wow, they have created a world of wants by stocking the most amazing things for your home and more importantly…for you!
While it’s about 35 minutes from Perth, I can feel already this is where you can experience that old world charm and service. Owners and husband and wife, Joss and Lotte Orban tell me their range is forever changing to satisfy a return or multiple visit.
With over 20 years of experience in sourcing and retailing products from around the world, First Avenue has grown into one of the Perth Hills leading destinations for unique and affordable Giftware & Jewellery, Homeware, Kitchenware and so much more.
From humble beginnings, as a small gift store, First Avenue has now gotten so big for its boots it’s split into two stores, one at each end of the Kalamunda town ship.
At the lower end of town First Avenue Kitchen & Home is their larger store showcasing a huge and varied range of Home Décor, Furniture & Kitchenware. Here you’ll also find the most amazing range for Christmas!
After you’ve got the home sorted, it’s just a 500-metre stroll to First Avenue Gifts & Accessories where you can spoil yourself. You see, the store carries some beautiful pieces of jewellery and some great fashion labels, which will definitely be hard to resist! Mmmm, love this!
First Avenue has something for everyone and the exceptional service you’ll get adds a very personal touch. Joss and Lotte say it’s been incredible watching the shops transpire. Being family owned and run, they can’t believe the wealth of knowledge and experience they’ve gained learning about the desires of their loyal local clientele.
