With a reputation for flexibility, quality and honesty, Highbury Homes is a residential building company with distinction.. including an array of Building Industry Awards.
They pride themselves on providing something different or surprising in every home they build, and judging by the display home behind me we’re in for a real treat.
Leading the organisation at Highbury Homes are the owners Chris Bishop, John Beattie and Jim DeBaughn. They established the company in 1999 and each brought with them a minimum of thirty years experience in their respective area of the construction industry.
The owners’ vision was to create a building company that treats its clients individually, no matter their budget, to create beautiful personalized homes, not just houses.
Cinzia spoke to Managing Director Chris Bishop about what creates the great staff culture at Highbury Homes.
A great example of the Standard of Highbury Homes is The Illoura. Illoura means a place of tranqulity and as you walk through the elegant front doors, the meaning behind the nameof the home soon becomes apparent.
The versatile layout offers both privacy when you need it and open plan living for family time. Starting with sitting/study room which is both intimate and practical. Moving to The Master bedroom which provides seclusion and easy access to all areas of the ground floor.
Then there’s the huge expanse of the main living area and kitchen, which is spacious enough to satisfy the needs of any family.
The upper floor is filled with surprises, and how good is this one. The home theatre, with its impressive size and design, is ideal for a movie night for the grown-ups or some fun-filled family time. Either way.. it’s a room that will definitely be loved and enjoyed by everyone.
And let’s not forget the outside of the home either.. with the ever popular BlueScope steel roof..it really adds that touch of class…..
The IIloura is certainly a wonderful example of the great work Highbury Homes are doing and I’ve just heard from the horse’s mouth that a brand new home in Applecross is on the way, so keep an eye out for that. If it’s anything like this one… it’s bound to be full of Surprises.
