For young people, an apprenticeship is a great way to begin a career in the construction industry, with a variety of pathways that don’t require you to go to university to have a well paid and rewarding career. There’s a huge range of choices available in everything from carpentry, bricklaying and plumbing, through to estimating, building surveying or project management.
