Apprentice of the year
It’s really heartening to hear about apprentices being successful in their chosen career. The Master Builders Apprentice of the Year Awards are held every November, and acknowledge outstanding apprentices across the state.
Here’s a great story they’d like to share!
Aly Harper was the winner of the 2018 Apprentice of the Year title! In what is a very male dominant industry, Aly has led the pack, and now holds this esteemed title.
Apprentices are judged on, trade skills, their ability to work unsupervised, their level of competency, work ethic and much more.
Aly, who also took out the Best Female Apprentice category, is a 2nd year carpentry apprentice at the South Metropolitan TAFE.
If ‘you’ know an outstanding apprentice, you can nominate them for next year’s awards, by getting in touch with Master Builders on 9476 9800 or visit mbawa.com.
