Design trends come and go and when you consider architecture, in the last 70 years we have seen everything from mid-century to contemporary building styles. However, one thing has remained consistent and that’s the presence of bricks and there’s one Australian company who has lasted the test of time and that’s Midland Brick.
Midland Brick have been contributing to community development projects by supplying bricks and pavers since 1946 to hospitals, schools and also of course homes.
Highgate Primary School’s early childhood learning centre, a recent project constructed using Midland Bricks has used a selection of materials. These included Midland Red bricks in Burnished Red, Heritage Red and Kalbarri. This complimentary combination of bricks merged the contemporary style of the learning centre with the surrounding traditional heritage styled buildings.
