Pretty impressive, hey? Today, I’m at Riverstone’s latest display, the Skypoint in Minim Cove. And as you’re about to see, I reckon they’ve got the recipe just perfect. A mix of timber and concrete and you’ve got instant street appeal, especially with that unique front elevation. Ready to check it out?
Although modern in appearance, the Skypoint maintains Riverstone’s trademark warmth, with a mix of materials and textures creating a welcoming, family home.
The Designers played heavily on the incredible views – so instead of taking you through the front door, like any other normal home…I’m taking you skyward, just like the name suggests.
I feel like I can just come in and kick my shoes off.. which is what Skypoint is intended to be. A true family home where you can relax with family and friends.
Director, Tim Marshall, says reverse living is a very unique feature to the home and helped to unlock those incredible views.
“Despite the zoning, this luxury display home with 4x beds, 2x bath plus 2x powder rooms maintains a true sense of connection. The beautifully designed external steel staircase links the pool area to the first-floor alfresco, while a corridor with floor-to-ceiling glazing connects the master suite to the living area, downstairs courtyard and children’s wing below.”
And we all know what connects a family – the kitchen!
“Although it has to look spectacular, we’re conscious that not everyone has several million dollars to spend on their house, so we want value for money, too. Our kitchens are top quality, but they offer value for money, too.”
The Skypoint’s upside-down configuration makes perfect sense given the home’s riverside location. A comfortable living area adjoins a spacious dining room, multifunctional alfresco and state-of-the-art kitchen with scullery.
The upper floor of the Skypoint also comprises a separate study and secluded master suite with luxurious ensuite and large dressing robe.
Although connected, Riverstone’s designers have employed clever design tricks to ensure these rooms are clearly defined. As a result, the master suite has the feel of an upmarket resort. Oh, yes. I think I could definitely feel at home here…
Bound to prove popular with the young adults is this fully glazed pool room..
and loving this external powder room, which means no wet feet traipsing through the house! The ground floor also comprises an oversized (or for me, the right sized) laundry..
With everything to entertain the kiddies and pure luxury at hand, it really does feel like a five star family resort..
