WA Seniors Week 2017 takes place from the 29 October to 5 November. Throughout the state myriad activities are being held in celebration of our elders in the community. The highlight of the week will be Have a Go Day a Livelighter event which this year celebrates its 25th anniversary in Burswood Park on Wednesday 1 November from 9am to 3pm. The day offers people the opportunity to come and try new activities, enjoy entertainment, win great prizes and find out lots of information about healthy ageing.
Other activities held during the week include Fairway Villages – The Green Seniors Week Movie Festival which offers people the opportunity to win tickets to three film sessions at the Backlot Theatre in West Perth.
